Weather experts predicted and have confirmed an El Niño pattern this year, which means increased rainfall, flooding, and other severe weather events in various regions. Remind your employees to stock up emergency supply kits with water, non-perishable goods, a flashlight, power source, first aid, any necessary medication, and copies of important documents ideally in waterproof container. If they already have a kit, be sure to check expiration dates and replenish supplies as needed. They should also make appropriate preparations for pets and any individuals in their care.
